You'll have a great time on this two-hour Whitewater Rafting Trip. Your river trip includes Class III and Class IV rapids. Must be at least 7 years of age and at least 70 pounds for this trip.

The Upper Pigeon is an ideal half-day trip for whitewater novices, families, and youth groups. There is a guide in each raft. A dam-controlled river, the Pigeon provides action-packed fun throughout the summer.

Check-in for this trip is in Hartford, Tennessee - approximately 34 miles from Gatlinburg, 40 miles from Pigeon Forge, 55 miles from Knoxville, and 57 miles from Asheville, NC.

Summary: 72 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Hotel pick-up or drop-off is not included. Child rate applies to ages 7 to 13. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-250-9240. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The Upper Pigeon carves a gorge through the Great Smoky Mountains. Rafters are immediately confronted with fast moving water and standing waves. Great trip for families!

Five miles of class III rapids provide a fun, fast-paced whitewater run through rapids named Powerhouse, Big Rock, Roller Coaster, Lost Guide, and Chubbie Checker.

Provided:

Raft, paddle, PFD, helmet and paddling jacket if needed

Facilities at Check-In/Put-Out Location:

Changing rooms with pull chain showers (no towels or soap provided), river store, picnic area, and a volleyball court.
